Who We Are

Hi y’all! We’re Rusty and Mary, lifelong best friends and proud Arkansans who love chasing the trails, towns, and hidden gems of the Natural State. Our friendship goes all the way back to 6th grade reading time beanbag chats. Over 20 years later, we’re still chatting, laughing, and now chasing adventures together all across Arkansas.

Rusty

Rusty was born and raised in Arkansas. Over the years, she’s grown to appreciate the beauty, charm, and surprises tucked into every corner of the Natural State. And no matter how far she’s wandered, she’ll always call Arkansas her home. Through Chasing Arkansas, she hopes to share that love and inspire others to explore it too.

Mary

Mary is a native Arkansan with a passion for discovering everything that makes the Natural State unique. From hidden waterfalls to backroad diners and historic downtown squares, she finds joy in exploring every corner. Through Chasing Arkansas, she hopes to share her discoveries and encourage others to experience the state’s charm.
